The Genesis of the Idea and Value of Political Peace in Early Modern Political Philosophy

The main intention of this paper is to reconstruct the conceptual and historical‎ genesis idea value political peace from point view ‎political philosophy at intersection between late scholasticism early modernity. consists three related parts. first part highlights‎ methodological contextual reasons why has ‎been overshadowed throughout history by dominant discourses on war. ‎second deals with clarifications. nature war distinguished ‎from other types conflict interpretative approaches to‎ are analyzed: realism, fundamentalist-moralistic holy‎ war, many theories natural law that give rise conceptions just‎ but also abolitionist perspective or ending all wars.
